1. Do I need to audition for Making It On Broadway?
Every student needs to audition for Making It On Broadway. Please submit a 32 bar cut of a song to jodie@makingitonbroadway.net. If you are a former student of Making It On Broadway or a student of Jodie Langel you do not need to audition.
2. How do I apply/audition?
To apply/audition, click on the PURCHASE tab to read information about application and audition requirements, if applicable. Once you have submitted, you will receive an e-mail regarding your status to the program. If accepted to the program, you must complete your payment to reserve your spot.
3. Does Making It On Broadway provide housing?
Unfortunately we do not provide housing, but we will suggest local hotels close to our location that offer great deals.
4. What is Making It On Broadway's cancellation policy?
Cancellations received before 30 days prior will receive a full refund. Cancellations received 30 days or less will not receive a refund.
5. What age do I have to be to attend Making It On Broadway?
Making It On Broadway is for ages 8 and up!
6. What should I bring to my intensive?
Once accepted into Making It On Broadway, every participant will receive (via email) a detailed list of what to bring. Basics items to include are your "book" of music, dance attire, a recording device, headshots, and resume.
7. What opportunities are available through Making It On Broadway?
Making It On Broadway gives students a chance to meet and perform for many of today's Broadway professionals as well as top casting directors and agents. Past students have gone on to receive agency representation as well as book professional work (Broadway, tours, etc). While we can't guarantee those same results for everyone, we CAN provide you with many of the tools and connections you need to put these possibilities within your grasp!
8. Can you come to my city?
Making It On Broadway has developed and held custom intensives at various cities around the country. We can customize an intensive for you and recruit the appropriate masterclass instructor, if necessary. Please e-mail jodie@makingitonbroadway.net for inquiries.
