For me, “Making It On Broadway” was the perfect opportunity that came into my life at the perfect time. It cemented my love for musical theatre and provided me with a much-needed education about the business. Being an inexperienced outsider in this field, I had no idea where to even begin when it came to following my dream of becoming a Broadway performer. “Making It On Broadway” not only directed me to the right path toward success on stage, but also provided me with experience and invaluable training that will help me for the rest of my life. The two intensives I attended were filled with fantastic classes, wonderful faculty, and one-of-a-kind master classes with exclusive guest performers. Jodie and Kim’s individualized and genuinely heartfelt approach to theatre education encouraged me to ask them for advice about anything, and they have remained friends and mentors long after I left their intensives. The skills I received from the intensives gave me the confidence to fearlessly walk into the audition for Billy Elliot The Musical and ultimately land the role of Susan Parks. Thank you “Making It On Broadway” for providing me with the essential tools that every aspiring actor needs to truly accomplish and seize all of his or her wildest dreams. |
